Boise's first big snow! I decided to take my 94' 4Runner for a drive. I found a flat, empty parking lot so of course I had to spin a few donuts! This video shows the difference between 2WD and 4WD in slippery conditions.

Thanks for the video. I got here because I am trying to get some help to define a possible purchase of a Nissan Qashqai. We live un Switzerland where in Winter we have snow, but in general the streets are cleaned. We would really like to have an automatic car, but the Automatic (Xtronic) 1.6 DCI Diesel version of the Qashqai doesn't come in Europe in 4x4 and only in 4x2. Should I sacrifice the automatic gear for the 4x4? Maybe somebody can help me understand in common road situations (Not mountains and not crazy terrains) how necessary is the 4x4. Thanks!

Sounds like some powerful choices there! Some of my family lived in Cheyenne. They got a lot of snow and freezing temperatures all through the winter. AWD would be a better choice for that type of environment, but with all that horespower It'll be extremely easy to spin all the tires.

Very nice video. This has actually helped me because I am moving to Cheyenne wyoming in about 5 months and ive been looking into getting a new truck which is either a srt10, lightning, or a silverado ss. And the SS would have AWD and the other 2 are only 2wd.
