I give a few pros and cons of the 48" Husqvarna thus far after 11 hour of service. Here are a few other videos that I have done on this mower. First Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOjVgEFHYz0 First Cut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdH8QmtfkMA

all mowers sold at lowes what ever brands and the craftman mower are all made by mtd. I USED TO DRIVE TRUCK AND I HAD TO TAKE A LOAD TO A MTD FACTORY AND THEY SEVERAL LINES MAKING ALL OF THE MAJOR AND MINOR BRANDS OUT OF THE SAME PLACE. IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW !!

Excellent job on the review

Good video. With respect to the reverse issue, it looks like the forward pedal is directly linked to the reverse knob (?). It might not be the safest way to go, but if you hooked your heel over the top of the forward pedal, you might be able to go a bit faster. I'd definitely have your other foot on the brake, if (if there's a separate pedal for that.

thank you for the video, I'm comparing lawn tractors and this is one I'm interested in. I don't suppose you have the snow thrower attachment for it do you??

Great review, good tip with very hot weather operation. 2 Blades 46in. here and it cuts as well when wet as when grass is dry. I never use the water port to clean the deck, I slide it out every 3 mowings and scrape it clean and empty the holes of the spindles aslo so the deck breathes at its best in order for it to give its best cut.

I have a Husquavara YTH2348 an wen turn d ignition switch over, I'm not getting any fire! What causes dat?

I have the GT54LS with the rapid replace blade system, if yours has that system, get rid if it ASAP. The covers fly off and expose the blade holders to damage. I just put regular blades on and much better cut/reliability now. Easy to convert to normal blades, since the star pattern spindles are already installed. You just need to grind the bolt tips down about 1/8-1/4" so the blades don't hit the longer bolts. They are 1/4" too long. Conversion only takes 20 minutes with deck removed, or you can get a mowjack to speed things up.

how do I adjust the front wheels in alignment .46

I have same mower! it's ok. as for the headlights you can pop the outside lenses off with a flat screwdriver and easily clean headlights! don't stay clean very long but it's easy to clean them!

Great review. Just bought this same mower. I agree with your "cons" about the seat. The first time I ran the mower the seat slipped. And I can't tell how much fuel is in the tank either :-) The reverse at half throttle is okay with me. It's just a safety issue since this mower can move right along. So far so good.

If that is Bermuda grass you are cutting in the wet???Well good luck. That is like steel wool. You ever try to hit a club through that in the rough? Bermuda Grass = Rotary Machine. Take a screw driver and fix the tabs on the seat. Was never set right the first time or defective from setup. Easy fix. Fuel line. Well that happens to everyone. Plus you got the INTEK motor which is the cheapest from Briggs. Glad you like the seat. And it looks like your getting a hell of a workout to require a sports drink while cutting or sitting on your BUTT! These guys at Husq make a great machine for the dollar.

Really, bolts/wingnuts go in the plastic for the seats, LMFAO

I agree with the teeth that lick the seat in place. Could stand it I actuslly mad new teeth for it adjusted them to lock better. Other then that issue it ain't that bad of a mower.

I have the YTH 2348 model and the carburetor is giving up on me, yes I've had it for like 6 years but now I've got to find the time to take it off and clean it or get someone to take it and just fix everything on it. yes it has a few problems. so i wouldn't mind just getting someone to come get it and fix everything. Just did the blades, oil, flue pump/filter, air filter, spark plugs, 2 new front tires and rims, and lights. I still need to replace the seat but I could care less about that. Anyway I enjoyed your video so keep it up.

I keep breaking the left side spindle housing. The grass bunches up and when the big clumps finally fall they are causing enormous stress on that far left spindle. Anyone have any comments or fixes. I have not hit anything to cause it to break...
