I'm going to one of the biggest ones in the country next week, The National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. It's a good show if you're a farmer, or, like me and most of my audience, a rural lifestyler. There are farm shows that cater to the big tractor and combine guys, like Husker Harvest Days and the Farm Progress Show, there are shows that are for us compact tractor guys, and shows that do a decent job of serving both audiences, which Louisville does. This video is a plea to get all of my viewers to participate in identifying which shows are the best for our market so, if we're in the buying mode, we know where to travel to see the good stuff. Farm Shows are a great place to shop because you can see a wide variety of brands, sizes and options, all in one place. At the National Farm Machinery Show, manufacturers usually try to highlight the latest in technology and innovation and I'm going to try to capture that to use in future videos and I may also do some Facebook live streaming from the show just to try out that platform, which seems pretty simple to use, providing the battery in my phone holds up. I'm also challenging all of my viewers, if you know of some really good farm shows in your area, put them in the comments below. As rural lifestyle customers, not everyone knows that a "farm" show is a good place to see small equipment, but some of them are, and if we pool all of our experiences we might be able to identify the really good ones so we don't waste our time with ones that don't cater to our products. If you want to watch my first attempts at live streaming to the world, go to my Facebook page and "like" it, and you'll be notified when I go live. Also, if you have anything you want me to scope out in Louisville, put it on my Facebook page and I'll see what I can find. A link is at the top of this page. Finally, here's a link to most of the North American farm shows, some are obviously not tailored to our audience, but some might be good, and if they're close, go check them out and let the rest of us know: http://www.agrimarketing.com/arsg.php.
