Bill Dare of Mohave Valley California is bringing his grandson into his business as a brand new ag pilot, and believes he's stacking the odds in his favor with the AT-504. The Air Tractor AT-504 offers one way to bridge the piston-to-turbine gap, providing the vehicle to begin bringing new pilots into the business in a way where they can learn while they earn their keep. The logic behind the 504's reason for being is gaining traction among more and more forward-looking ag operators.

so have you noticed how the 504 will shutter in turns? the bubble like cockpit causes airflow problems across the tail. this thing can't take real loads, its even worse then a regular 502. its basically a really expensive way to train guys to transition into turbines but probably the best way.
