i have an lx865 new holland been great. need a new one . was thinking about kubota? have you had one?

Great video from a business owner who owns both machines. Really enjoy watching these kind of videos and wish more people would do reviews like this so we can all write about are experiences and maybe learn something. Buying a skidsteer is a huge investment and it worried me that I might screw up and buy the wrong machine. Bought one a couple weeks ago for the up coming season and I literally sat and tested every new machine brand in my area, while I had time this winter. Wacker, Gehl, Terex, Tachuchi, Bobcat, Kubota, John deere, And Cat. Its was very hard to make a decision. such a huge selection with different emissions and specs. All I want is a reliable machine. Nothing fancy. I will say the Wacker SW17 series surprised me the most. Its a really nice machine with a great 4 year warranty. John Deere G series were nice too.

have you looked at a Kubota skid steer? I live around Bismarck ND and that's were the bobcat"sand box" is located it's a fancy way of saying the design headquarters. But I have an uncle that works there and supposedly they rented a Kubota to take measurements on the loader because the Kubota will out life a bobcat when the Kubota is idled down all the way. you can believe me or not but I love watching your videos and I truly love the points you give people. I just wanted to give you a suggestion. thanks fur everything

We have both New Holland and Bobcat on our farm. The Bobcat is WAY easier to service. We call the New Holland Penn State engineering at its finest. Because New Holland hires Penn State graduates.
-
We had a 08' New Holland L175 (bought it new) and it was a p.o.s. almost every month or two the drive pump kept going out. So after a year we traded it in on a Geihl 5640 and that rig was fantastic.

jake s your right do as I do and I have a ls180 just park it with the boom up and lock pins out and no problem. as far as problematic compared to bobcat, I disagree my current new Holland has 9200 hours with absolutely no major mechanical issues of any kind. plus my new Holland literally outlifts and out works comparable bobcats all day long
-
Park New Holland with boom up and lock pins out. New 200 series is a pain to work on with boom down because the cab cannot be flipped until boom is raised. 100 series is much easier to work on.
-
Was that your S300 at 2:24? I have one and it's great.
-
if i was hourly paid, i would buy a toyota. But i'm not so i wouldn't buy anything that isn't VLP. Bobcat isn't cheap enough to be any good at hourly paid and not quick enough to be production paid. I pay mechanics the same price whatever they work on so don't care that .001% of the time they have poor access to the engine bay.
-
The 300, 300D, and 300E series John Deere skidsteers are amazing. Made by Deere, fast smooth powerful engine, hydraulics and tractive force. Some of the best lift capacities in the industry. Nice and big cab on the D and E series. I like them more then Bobcat.
-
The new skit steers are more friendly to work on L218 L225
-
And do you own that complex?
-
Is that where you keep all of your equipent at that complex?
-
bobcat engine is a kubota but have you tried kubata
-
Why don't you use Caterpillar equipment. Such as there skids steers or backhoes ?
-
Hi Stanley.... I am the guy who bought your l180 you are showing in this video... I guess I should have gotten your autograph.. I did not know you were famous.
-
Dont buy any of them buy a Jhon deer. Jhon deer for the win
-
Is case a pain in the ass too? I know you tried out a couple of case machines and case and nh are sister co's.
-
also i have broken the lower scissor arm on both sides of my new holland. broke on the inside where it hooks to the tractor
-
another thing that should be added to this comparison is bucket visibility. the new holland the bucket is much more exposed and you can see everything. the bobcat has a cross arm that can at times make it extremely difficult to see when doing more delicate work. that being
