This jackass, Cenk, uses the Allied Forces' treatment of Germany and Japan as an example to how we should react to the mass murder or our civillians by Islamic terrorists?? He focuses on the Marshall plan to say "hey, look how much kinder we were to the Nazis and Japanese!" but intentionally ignores important facts.
The Allies firebombed entire cities; they imprisoned millions of soldiers who surrendered (more than a million who died during their confinement); ethnically cleansed vast regions of Eastern Europe, forcing hundreds of thousands of German men, women, and children from their homes; they dropped two atomic bombs on Japanese cities; they forced Germany to pay billions every year in reparations which they are still paying today, more than 60 years later; they ceded half of Germany to one of the most violent regimes in history, that of Joseph Stalin, where all freedom of expression and movement was oppressed and civilians were routinely tortured or murdered for speaking their mind or attempting to flee to the west; they (Russians) raped hundreds of thousands of ethnic Germans and Ukrainians; they (Russian allies again) subjugated the eastern half of Europe under harsh authoritarian rule while the other allies refused to intervene.
The TYT morons raise hell when a single smart bomb accidentally kills a half dozen Muslim civilians. If the U.S. were giving Al Qaeda, ISIS, and its biggest supporters (e.g., Saudi Arabia and Pakistan) the same treatment we gave Japan and Germany, Mecca would be buried under a hundred feet of rubble and Pakistan would be unlivable due to radioactive fallout for a thousand years! -
