Here I am digging the large holes for my 2000 square foot Hansen Pole building. I dug 8 - 24" holes 40" deep, 10 - 16" holes 40" deep, and 3 - 12" holes 24" deep in approximately 4 hours with a Bobcat S160 and an auger attachment.

Wonder how that auger would do in clay. Took me 5 hours digging 3 deck footer holes in rocky very thick clay with post hole diggers. 12 inches wide 40 inches deep.
