What a great tribute to American Industry during the mechanical age... It appears we will never see America so strong again... We are now entering the age of the "New World Order" where globalism is the new catch phrase and America will be absorbed into the "North American Union" and your rights as an individual we be superseded by becoming part of a collective society. At least that is the diabolical plan...for us. We can only hope it fails and the sponsors will be exposed...

Who would have thought I would want to go to Florida to see a tractor museum? A Minnesota farm boy!

I love the Lawn Boy rebadged as a Cub Cadet sitting there. Those are pretty rare.

Well, I've learned a bunch from the Red Power Magazine forum. Much of my knowledge has been from life long IH owners. I have a friend who worked many years for a CIH dealer, and now does restorations for a living. I have another friend who owns a complete set of Gold Demos and owned 3 IH dealers back in the 70s and early 80s. Golds were only the 5 models I mentioned, only 1970 models, and the best way to identify a Gold is to check the inside of the body panels, or scrap a little red paint.

I'm afraid you're wrong. The 1970 Gold Demo program consisted of the 1456, 1026, 826, 656 and 544. E-mail me at bkaris@comcast.net and I'll send you a copy of the Gold Demo Literature. BK
