This is a home built John Deere tractor a friend of ours built back in the 70's. It uses an old lawn mower frame and a 1 1/2hp John Deere E hit and miss engine. The tractor has 3 speeds forward and 1 speed reverse. It was built for riding around at antique engine shows and parades.

Quieter and more pleasant to listen to than any Honda engine! And I bet it runs all day cold at those RPM's

Rack and pinion steering.

HIT a bump and MISS a leg.

I don't think I could ever own a hit and miss engine. Is it just me? I love old cool things, but a hit and miss motor just pisses me off. I want it to run smoothly! Argh!

If anything ever happens to that kid, we have a video demonstrating a history of habitual child endangerment, and negligence to the courts.
