I show you how to operate a John Deere R series tractor with Powershift transmission. I'm not too savvy with the Greenstar and COMMANDARM console yet, but so many people asked for a how to operate video, here it is! Glad I watched your video! Last harvest season I had to drive a 8r series tractor with that setup, but I remembered how to do it from this video haha! Thanks for this nice video!
-
Everyhorn on your tractors ether doesn't work or is very quiet strange
-
nice vid just what I was looking 4.
-
I don't know if someone brought this up, however why did they put the engine speed knob so close to the hydraulic shift levers? Never drove a tractor before.
-
At 4:10 minute on that yellow stick of speed to put hare or turtle.
There is not a tractor in the market with slug mode instead of turtle? -
i like your videos i like farmers life we used to have a farm in roumania but we had to sold it and move to spain for economical reasons that 8r is so beatiful i think is tghe best looking series from jd

-
this is awesome
-
How much fuel does that burn per hour???

Interesting video and thanks for the tutorial. These new tractors absolutely fascinate me. I grew up on the 3010, 3020 and 4020 and the newer tractors look confusing compared to the older models. Miss the work. I suppose one might say I'm living vicariously through you. :) Be safe and best wishes.

Will you ever put row crop duals in it
-
what's the little switch next to the gear shifter that has 1 and 2
-
my family has a 8320r
-
When changing from gear 1 to 2, you press the clutch all the way down then move it into 2? Doesn't pressing the clutch stop the tractor though or is it suppose to be like that? Thanks

say you had a grain cart hooked up what button would be to put the auger out and turn it on

Mate, no one is scrambling your gps signal. The difference is in the fact that what satelite service you pull, how many satelites you can get and what buad rate you can do. And on the RTK all they do is add another position witch is a static one to calculate your movement relative to the static point for a better calculculation of you position.

If you can use a smart phone you can use the commandarm and greenstar
