i think you need to move the coulter to the left a few inches , you can clearly see two strips of grass being turned over , in the top view . 14.30

hi nice video you helped me a lot but i just have a few questions. I have a Kubota gl 23 it not a big one but its enough cause i live in a small greek island and the fields here are small and rocky i have a double plow like this one http://www.car.gr/classifieds/tractors/photos/1202906/ sorry the advertisment is in greek my problem is that its very light and it can not go in the ground easy should i add some weight on it or the angle must be different for eample the ends must point a bit down please help me out.

Great video. Do you guys ever use any other brand of compact tractors other than John Deere and Kubota? Would be nice to see a Mahindra or something. Regardless still great videos

Hoh! what a rupach job you are making - sorry to be blunt but I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, the tears are just streaming!
I have to put up with fowk working " small 80 hp tractors suitable for stable work and grass topping" which in actual fact can pull up to 5 furrows in 2WD but struggle with 2 or 3 fur's because no one knows much about it.
May I suggest to one and all here, - go research Harry Ferguson's System - the linkage geometry is half the battle - lost on ALL the big and modern tractors of today, you will find all you need to know about good plowing and ploughing wherever you live. Good Luck -
People, should not be allowed to give instructions, when thay are not qualified to do so.
a little knowlage is a dangerous thing -
Dang it Peanut, use the diff lock!

how does a gage wheel work?
I thought the hydraulic position did that. It does pivot at the bottom pins but the top is stationary..I have a Bx 2200 kabota -
After watching your most recent plow video's, can I be confident that I can use a colter on the compact plow (yellow) I bought from you last year on my 2-yr old B-26?
-
You guys are the Top Gear of the tractor world. "Peanut" is the Stig.
Best channel I've subscribed to in years! Love it! Great videos, guys. -
Can you not get a swing plough attachment? I know you need a bit of weight to make the plough spin over but it would save time in not having to keep reversing up.
-
Seems that one could design a plow which will actually shift to the left far enough so that it doesn't have to be pulled sideways, or with the tractor's 3 point hitch offset.
As other commenters have mentioned, the coulter needs to be 1/2" or so to the left of the plow bottom to leave a clean furrow.
This plow just looks to be built for a wider tractor than a subcompact.
Are you guys planning to build a plow which will better fit a subcompact? -
Is this a BX1870? 2370? I'm looking at them right now but from what I've seen the 1870 has smaller tires and this video proves why that wouldn't be good.

What size plow is this? Looks like a 14".
