John Deere's X700 series riding mower is available with an auto-connect deck. Simply drive over and connect with the push of a button and to disengage just push the button while stopped.

I do this on my x730 and it's so easy to come off but getting it back on takes practice for lineing up

Would be a nice tractor for my dad. Since he is getting up there in age (63) he could use one of these since the mower deck on his Cub Cadet weighs probably close to 80+ lbs this would be a huge advantage to him.

Guys it might be a tumor on his head,I worked with a guy that looked like he cracked in the back of the head with a ball peen hammer, but turns out it was a discolored tumor he had for yrs

Claudita, sounds like you wanna break your ol man's rider. Go big or go home, the lawn mower wtf
-
Please excuse my weird question: what would be the best way to brake it , sugar in the engine? Is there something easy I could do to make it stop functionning, like cutting a little wire somewhere? Thank you sooo much!
-
why dont you put a vidio of you cutting some lawn
-
best spot for the nicotine patch ever
-
Grt a different man, to drive the tractor.
-
What's on the back of this dudes nugget?
-
What he doesn't show is that you have to crawl under there and manually disengage the pto drive shaft.
-
all D series sold at lowes and home depot are same as dealer ship actually set up from john deere tech.
-
And in all John Deere equipment (ranging from the lowest end lawn tractors to the highest end $550,000+ harvesters) the parts come from all corners of the world. Just because a certain hose or fitting is made in China, doesn't mean it's junk. If it weren't for Deere's cutting edge supply chain management, an already expensive $75,000 utility tractor (such as the 5075M) would cost upwards of $100,000.

There are 2 different factories that produce John Deere L&G tractors. The original factory is in Horicon, Wisconsin and currently produces the X300, X500, and X700 series lawn and garden tractors (also the Gator, and Z-Trak). Those are what you see at the dealers. There is also a factory in Greenville, TN that produces the other D and LA series that you buy at Lowes. Yes those are also manufactured to the same ISO-9000 specifications, but with much less rigid, lighter duty components.
-
This isn't true, not all JD L&G tractors are built in the same factory.
-
this would make a great vacuum rider as well.just make a drive over vacuum deck and this will sell like crazy.
-
Wendo255 You might me correct about all JD's being made at the same factory but the tractors that you buy from home depot or wherever aren't the same specs as the Dealership ones. My Aunt is a secretary at a John Deere dealer and she tells me all the time about the mechanics complaining about the crap that customers are bringing in that they buy from lowes exe. The parts and components are sub standard and they don't even have the ability to get half of the parts cause they are made in china.

what the hell is on the back of that guys head

Is there a difference between buying a John Deere mower at Lowes? than there is a John Deere Dealership? or is it just the price? I bought one a John Deere Dealership and then seen that Lowes started selling John Deere keep in mind this was several years ago, i have heard that the Dealership one is better built and the steel is thicker is that true?
