I have a 1538 with a smoke stack and dual tires! Great work horse. There is no headlight switch. You have to plug then in underneath the hood. They are always on when u do plug em in

Where is the headlight switch?

Finally got mine running this weekend. After finding it in the landfill last fall, and stewing on what was wrong with it much of the winter, I am pleasently suprised with the results. Ended up being a blown head gasket, and the carb. needed rebuilt. I have heard time after time from different yard mechanics to "junk" it because of the hydrostatic but I don't see what the fuss is about. It was a little hard getting use to but after getting use to it, i'm not sure if I would want anything else. And it is a better running mower than my father in laws L100. Only thing i'm missing now is the seat assembly.

Damn iPad, sorry. Can you email me. I have the same model, replace ignition, replaced silonode, changed fuse, and now just blow fuses and it won't start. Started is good tested that with jumper cables fires right up. Any help? Tsvaughn69@yahoo.com
