Watch as I knock down the high Crown in our mile long driveway with the Kioti and a back blade. Hindsight, I should have used my box blade, but I didn't think about it! I am strictly trying to patch up the low spots since we've now hit the cold rainy fall/winter!! In the next couple of days we'll bring in some clean 1 inch stone to fill the lower rutted spots (I do not want 3 inch, because you'll always pull that garbage big rock up when you try to do future grading! Plus you need a larger quantity of small stone (CA 6) to cover it with and we're really trying to minimize the cost!!

Well this might not be an answer you were looking for , but technically one CAN reshape and regrade our lives by first letting Jesus Christ into it , Jesus bore our sins up on the cross and by saying yes to his salvation he ll even gradually save and heal broken parts of our lives ! -Allan

Good call on not power raking. I'm with you 100 percent. Wait til winter and the construction is done then just throw a few fresh loads of gravel on it.
That land plane and power rake makes the road look like crap. Mixes all the dirt in with your clean rock.
The driveway is looking good. Thanks for the video. -
Love seeing the tractor work! I keep on dreaming of getting one! I watch a lot of YouTube stuff to learn, but will have to actually do it myself to understand it!

That's what you call airbrushing. Works but... Best result like you say bottom of ruts. The down poors you get water lying in ruts not fully compacted then one car only has to go over it and just pushes it out when wet.

nice video i like your Kioti tractor

I think you'd really like having a land plane. In my experience you will have to cut to the bottom of the pot holes or they come back quickly. That's doubly true if I get waves. However, a land plane with scarifiers is just the trick. I pull the scarifiers a time or two to break it up and then I pull the land plane to spread the dirt over it nicely. One rain and all the dirt flows off the rocks and it looks like new.
The best part about a land plane to me is that it doesn't take much talent to use it. With a scraper blade or box blade you really need to be on top of what you're removing and how nicely it's putting it back. With a land plane I just kind of slouch in the seat, set my music, and enjoy the ride while barely paying attention to what's going on behind me. You have a lot of driveway, I'm sure you'll enjoy having the perfect tool for maintaining it. -
how's the house coming?

Man wish kubota and kioti would get on the train with 3pt down pressure like JD has. Could really use that on my 50hp kubota

That is nice lighting you have in the pole building. What are you using for lights?

I cant wait to see the gravel on my drive. Wright now its clay sand and 3 inch logging road stone. I see what you mean about the big stone getting knocked up while doing maintenance.
