The SS 2400 Tractor The Lite-Trac SS 2400 has a 14 tonne payload capacity with equal weight distributed across all four wheels. This is possible via a mid-mounted engine and gear box to minimise soil compaction. The wheels on the SS 2400 are very large in diameter, increasing tyre-soil contact area allowing high speeds with pristine control! The SS 2400 has 260 horse power (194Kw) and mechanical four wheel drive with air suspended axles. The SS 2400 has a 6 speed automatic power shift gearbox with locking torque convertor allowing for road speeds up to 50km/h. Other features include; forward mounted cab for high visibility and tried and tested application demounts for: Wet spraying, suspension fertilizer, precision granular, lime and fertilizer. Crop Sprayer The Lite-Trac crop sprayer uses stainless steel, high capacity tanks that can hold up to 8000 litres. The tank is mounted centrally between both axles to maintain equal weight distribution, the tanks are full width to keep the centre of gravity low. The sprayer uses aluminium Pommier booms of up to 48 metres with auto boom levelling. The sprayer boosts the use of TopCon X20 spray controller which has GPS rate control and auto section shut off! Tank and system upgrades can be made for suspension fertilizer which is available on all tanks up to 5000 litres. Boom mounted precision pneumatic pellet and granular applicators are also available.
