While it has only been a short history for China crane manufacturers, they have been striving towards competition with the world's famous makers like Terex and Liebherr. Not only competing with the volume of crane sales, these China manufacturers are thinking of way to build something bigger and larger. XCMG has managed to break a record for the crawler crane industry once again after their announcement for their largest crawler crane, XGC88000, which was also the world largest crawler at the moment. The 4,000 ton crawler crane rolled off the assembly line on 2nd November 2012. XCMG has held their XCMG Heavy Machinery National Customer Summit in 2013 which they have performed commissioning of the 4,000 ton crawler crane by hoisting a 4,500 ton load for a period of 20 minutes.

kind of funny that there both Liebherr LR 13000 with a max load at 3000 metric tons capacity and max lifting height of 246 meters and this one is with Max. lifting capacity of 3600 Tons and a Max. heavy boom length of 120 meters claiming the title as the worlds most powerful crane COME on guys get those fact right hehe
